Animal Friends Insurance and Wild Futures form partnership
For Immediate Release Date: 12th October 2009
Wild Futures and Animal Friends Insurance Form Partnership
Wild Futures is pleased to announce its new partnership with Animal Friends Insurance. The insurance company's pledge of a donation of over £7,000 in support of Wild Futures' primate rescue and rehabilitation work comes at an exciting time for the charity, which launched its new name and image just last week. Wild Futures was previously known as The Monkey Sanctuary Trust and draws upon over 45 years of experience in primate welfare and conservation.
"The kind donation from Animal Friends Insurance will go towards vital veterinary bills for the Sanctuary's rescued capuchin monkeys as well as the replacement of existing woolly monkey territory. We are delighted - not just to have the financial support, but also to have formed a partnership with such a great organisation" say Gill Maltby, Fundraising Manager for Wild Futures.
"Unlike any other pet insurance company in the UK, Animal Friends Insurance is a not-for-profit company. That means all the net profits go straight back to helping animals in need all over the world. We hope that this will be the beginning of a long-term and rewarding relationship for both of us".
Elaine Fairfax, Managing Director of Animal Friends Insurance added: "It is an absolute delight to be able to help the staff and animals at Wild Futures. Seeing how happy the monkeys are left me no in doubt that Wild Futures deserves our support"
